 The Melbourne Craft Cartel is proud to support the 2008 Bicycle Film Festival with a number of crafty bike events culminating in a heap of cycling fun at the BFF street party,from midday, Nov 23rd, Dodds st Southbank.
The Craft Cartel is super excited to be a part of the B.est F.riends F.orever Street Party Sunday 23rd November Dodds St Southbank 12–5pm Beautiful bikes and their owners from every corner of Melbourne come together in an afternoon of bicycle-themed frivolity. Featuring a show and shine, bunny hop contest, roller derby and of course the second annual bicycle beauty pageant. A bar and DJs for the grown ups, kids and their bikes welcome. The Street Party is gonna be super ace and will have tons of music, beer, hot boys and girls doing ace bike tricks, a bike fashion parade, and a bike-themed art jam! We're running a BIKE-THEMED Craft Market as part of our Bike Love series. We're on the hunt for crafters with crafts to go on bikes, use on bikes, make bikers look hot, or have crafts that have bikes on them to run stalls. Sound like you? Get in touch. And of course this is our FIRST market for the summer season so we are PUMPED! (that was a bike pun, be warned, there will be more). Bike Love Bike Cupids Random Acts of Kindness To help promote the BFF and to encourage y'all to be ace bikey people, the Craft Cartel is hitting the streets in Melbourne giving FREE bike crafty gifts. Plus we'll be attaching valentines to bikes. If you find a valentine on your bike, keep an eye out for your matching pair. If you can match up you get a prize!!
