Lilia has been weaving baskets for nearly a decade, using mainly Harekeke (NZ Flax), and some native grasses, and climbing rope from Tasmanian forest blockades.
She has exhibited at a number of art shows, including Weld Echo, Climate of Change & Green Art, contributed to a number of raffles and prizes for forest blockade fundraising efforts, and held stalls at the Hobart Fringe Night Markets. Other crafts dabbled in include stenciling & patch making, felting, spinning, quilting, and a range of DIY punk crafts. |
